Questions About Demeyere Atlantis Cookware

Hello everyone,

I've been reading a lot of what people have been saying here about the Demeyere Atlantis line of cookware and had some questions.

1. I read that the company recommends not using a dishwasher even though these pots and pans are dishwasher safe. Does anyone have any good experience using a dishwasher to wash these? Does it harm them? Do you have a recommended dish soap to use Brand/Type (Liquid, tablet, powder)/Scent (I've heard citrus ones corrode dishware) that would be ideal? Should these never be put in a dishwasher? I’m looking for sturdy cookware I can put through the dishwasher without destroying it.

2. I'm looking at the 12.6 inch Proline pan and was wondering, when measured on the inside bottom of the pan (Not the outside or the top diameter or measuring any of the curved edge) what does the bottom diameter measure in inches? I also was wondering the bottom diameter of the 4.2 quart Saute pan.

3. I just bought pieces of the Calphalon Tri-ply SS set and this is more than a confirmation than a real question, but: these pans aren’t very good, are they? I’ve heard many cases of them warping/bubbling and no one on here seems to talk about them as a valid option. I just want to make certain my suspicions are correct before returning them and not looking back.

Thanks for everything everyone,
S. P.
