What happened to the Outer Boroughs board?

squid kun Aug 11, 2013 09:41 AM

I haven't been able to view it since sometime yesterday. Other boards I visit regularly are behaving normally.

        I bet it's Sandy related.

Any news on what the issue is?

            I still cannot access it....

Well, that's not good. I'll raise it to the Engineering team. Thanks for the report.

Been down for quite some time. The only reason I did not report it here is that the error message specifically says
" The CHOW team has been notified and will check it out."

If that message is not accurate, someone might want to reconsider that auto-response.

+1 to that and still waiting for the board to reappear.

The message is still accurate, though could perhaps be worded more clearly. We do receive information whenver errors occur on the site. However, that information isn't always terribly specific- it tells us *why* something is wrong, but not necessarily *what*. Sometimes its a trivial, invisible problem tantamount to housekeeping. Sometimes it's a major issue that brings down entire sections of the site. To put it another way, we're notified of causes, but not the effects that show up on your end.

With this in mind, please do let us know when you see something major broken, as it helps us to prioritize and better understand the information we have.

Yes, please Chow overlords and overladies - it's the board I check first.

It is definitely "outer order" (sorry)
