Italian Seafood Soup

Go to Costco, buy the jarred Bruschetta, it's fantastic, depending on how much soup you need buy accordingly. Put in a pan along with EITHER Chicken or Beef Broth, to thin it out, add some fresh Basil, Parsley, Thyme chopped up, bring to a slow boil, add cut up raw 21-25 Shrimp, Scallops, and Jumbo Lump Crab, turn off the heat, the fish will cook. Grate a good Parm/ Reg on top. Serve with a Garlic Cheese Toast!

    AFAIK Italians never put cheese on seafood. But it does sound delicious.

      this is thread with about 50,000 replies, and yeah, i come from a very strict "no cheese with fish" family. (my b/f had a glass of milk with our salmon dinner the other night and i threw up in my mouth a little.)

      lol. bruschetta begins with bread so how is it in a jar?

        Actually, we can't move things from one thread to another. We can split a thread into two, but we can't add posts to an existing thread.

        I would not cut up the shrimp, they are small enough. It looks more stylish with the shrimp or scallops (bay) whole.
