Rochester, Minn: Victorias

Giving a restaurant a second shot is always a good idea. Loved my pescatoria special the first time, albeit the pasta was not al dente. The gracious service was no fluke on that first venture: this time, I asked
if I could have whole wheat pasta, but al dente this time. I also ordered a salad instead of soup, and was pleased with both. For $21.95 on this
early bird I counted 3 large shrimp, 3 huge scallops, 2 clams, 2 mussels and oodles of tender squid over perfect pasta in a mild red wine sauce.

So, from now one, if a first experience is good overall, but not perfect, I'm going to give the place a shot at making it better. Victorias came through
for me.

As did Jimmy Johns, when I gave specific instructions how I wanted my
take-to-the-plane roast beef sandwich to be made. $6 for pure healthy
yum that lasted until Chicago. At home, Bala Cynwyd location for Jimmy
Johns here I come.

Rochester, Minnesota is on the Great Lakes board and not on this board. Sounds like a nice meal though.
