Not LA, but The Playground in Santa Ana has had several variations of mazemen over the past week or so. On tonight's menu they have "Mazemen Ramen, Wagyu Beef Fat, Braised Pork Belly, Wild Mushroom, Slow Egg, Fried Garlic".

The one on Wednesday night was really good (pretty similar to tonight's). Better than their ramen attempts.

Going tonight too. May try it for dessert if I make it past the grilled quail, fried chicken, jidori sausage roulade, wagyu skirt, and kurobuta pork shoulder.

Was there tonight as well. :)

The noodles seemed just a bit underdone to us, but that didn't stop us from polishing off the whole thing. The trick is to bring enough people so that you can do all of the aforementioned meats AND still have room for the mazemen.
