Best Dim Sum on Queens.... And am I better off in Flushing rather than Chinatown in Manhattan ?
the best by a long shot is hakkasan in manhattan. dim sum generally in NY is pretty mediocre, but Hakkasan is quite good.
Does Hakkasan have different selection of dim sum than Lake pavilion. i.e. the usual, lo mei gai, har gow, shumai, etc?
the short answer is yes...go to their website and you can see their menu
get the pipa duck btw, its very good
well it looks interesting, it looks fancy. They do have Lo may gai and had gau ( which I like) but they have many other more interesting dishes. What is Cheung fun? I find it odd that they have Japanese restaurants too.
cheung fan is the white rice noodles that are wrapped around a meat (beef or shrimp or cha siu usually) and then they pour that sweet lighter soy sauce on it....its one of my fav dim sum dishes
I know that dish and like it a lot,,,, For some reason I like to put Worcester sauce on that and on har gau
worchester sauce haha...interesting
