I'm looking recommendations for a Sunday brunch that takes reservations for 8 that is in the mid-price range, i.e. not "Pastis" please. I keep reading about "Prune" but they don't take reservations. Any comments on Petite Abeille? Cafe Orlin? Beauty & Essex brunch menu looks good but the decor is too nighttime for a Sunday brunch. Thanks a million!

In another thread where I asked for duck eggs, kathryn suggested JoeDoe, which offers brunch, takes reservation and which I believe can be considered "mid-price".

I am not exactly sure how much the "earth" costs but try:

      Blue Ribbon Bakery
Jane - every brunch entree comes with a cocktail
      Perilla
      The Smith
      Cookshop
      Peels
      Landmarc

If you think B&E sounds good, check out Stanton Social as well.
        Burget & Barrel
        Rubirosa
        Coilcchio & Sons Tap Room
        Riverpark
        Goat Town
        Hundred Acres
        The Smith
        Lafayette
        Five Points

Tap Room at C&S and Lafayette's prices are probably too much for the OP.

I tried to book a table for 8 at both Hundred Acres & Five Points and their OpenTable pages would let me. Possible they can't accommodate a party of that size. Worth a call, though.

In addition to the ones that have already been mentioned, Sarabeths in TriBeCa takes brunch reservations. Don't think the other locations do though.
