  1. I was wondering the same thing. I wanted to go, but our wedding is on Sunday.

I've had food from a few of the trucks listed, and there's going to be lots of liquior.. how could you have a bad time? Hahaha

      Hey cold,

Yeah, the soon-to-be wife probably wouldn't take to postponing the wedding very well. :)

        Thank You.

well, we aren't seeing each other the night before.. so if I went solo.. its the hungover and puffy look thing that would get me in trouble.. ha ha ha..

Did you see the new Paleo restaurant that is soon to open in Avon?

No, thank YOU. Cave is pretty much a straight shot for me down 18. I can't wait!

    2. If anyone goes, try Emery Farms a block or two over for their delicious pies. I find that Laurita is a bit pricey, but haven't tried any yet. Might be worth a road trip.........

Went to Laurita Winery in July for a similar event with a group of friends. Thought it was well worth the $7 admission charge which also got you a wine glass. We enjoyed the variety of foods offered by the food trucks and bought a few bottles of their wine to share. The wines are unremarkable but okay for a fun filled afternoon with friends. If you go, take their hayride-style ride and learn about the history of the vineyard.
We ended our day with a side trip to Emery's as well. Their Blueberry pies are outstanding. We've gone back several times and can also recommend the Lemon Meringue Pie.

I was there too. It is a good time and the food is good. I must say I was underwhelmed by the red hook lobster roll. Chocolate covered bacon was pretty serious lol

Taste of smoke brisket sandwich was a winner

Now that summer is over do they have events inside during the colder months also?

They have events all year round. They will be having another Food Trucks & Firepits event at the end of Oct or Nov (not sure which off the top of my head).

Sorry, Food Trucks & Firepits is the FIRST weekend of Oct.
