911 for TONIGHT. Mexican, nice patio, near subway...

Going crazy trying to find something to take advantage of one of the very few gorgeous days/nights "so far" (fingers crossed) this summer. So yes, good Mexican food near a subway and with a nice patio. I saw El Sol on Danforth but the patio looks not nice.... Only one hour left before I have to meet my friend.

I know this was for yesterday, but wouldn't playa cabana hacienda be in walking distance from St George Station?

Hacienda is probably closest to Summerhill station or possibly Dupont, but it would be probably about 15 min either way

Is the Distillery too far from the subway for you? El Catrin has a gorgeous and huge patio.

Thanks for the quick reply. It's perfect, but my friend is TTC-ing it so it's not going to be convenient. Not sure why those knuckleheads at the Distillery don't offer a shuttle service from/to Union. They're doing their tenants a disservice by not getting with it. I'd go much more than I do if they had that. Not sure where we'll go now, but thanks again.

There are ttc buses that run close by or a quick walk south of king street car line. It really isn't that far out there :)

I realize this is much too late for tonight, but it's only a 20 minute walk from Union to the Distillery along Front.

The ride on the King Street car from King Station takes less than 10 minutes, and the King St car stop (Parliament)is less than a 5 minute walk from the Distillery District. The 5-7 minute taxi ride from Union to the Distillery would have cost less than $10.
