Hi, after a few days in Barcelona we are spending a few days in Cadaques and Begur. I would love some suggestions of where to eat in either of these places and the surrounding area. Also if there is a place we shouldn't miss as we travel from Barcelona to these areas. Thank you for your help with this.

Hi, here you have some recommendations:

    Around Begur:
    - Toc al mar (xiringuito near Aiguafreda beach)
    - Casamar (in Llafranc, a fine dinning restaurant)

    Cadaqués:
    - Compartir (former El Bulli staff)
    - Ca l'Anita (fresh fish and a crazy owner)

by the way, the tour company that you mentioned on another post is looking for you on its facebook page.

    Salut!

In cadaques we had an excellent meal at Nor dEst which is right on the seafront all the way down on the left as you are looking at the water. The grilled seabass was some of the best I've ever had and the lovely salad of baby broad beans with mint and jamon is spectacular. Nice chill vibe and friendly staff. Also enjoyed the tapas bar right in the middle of that strip -- forgetting the name now due to jetlag ( just returned from BCN last night). But it's the modern looking place you see right on the beach as you enter that zone. Bar RosaAzul to the right has the best sangria and friendly service too. Enjoy!!!
