Food for 3 Nights Napa Valley + 1 Night Healdsburg

  • 6

Dinner suggestions needed for this trip---been many times before so looking for under the radar. Martini House was a favorite so Goose & Gander on the list. Been to Bottega on a good night but know they are inconsistent. Did not have a good experience at Redd (food and service). Would rather do more casual French that the Laundry. Staying at Hotel LeMars in Healdsburg and would love to walk to dinner on the final night. Thanks in advance.

  1. Chalkboard is the new restaurant in Hotel LeMars.

If you want something very casual in atmosphere but quite sophisticated in kitchen execution, The Shed is next door to your hotel.

Many other walkable choices, just depends on what you feel like eating.

The Shed doesn't appear to have dinner service. Chalkboard looks fine---what appears to be a trend toward casual dining. Other thoughts will be appreciated. Thanks!

Healdsburg has so many options... We are going in sept. We are planning dinners at Barndiva, Mateo's Cocina, Chalkboard and Scopa. Would love to hear what you think of Chalkboard. It's been a couple of years since we have been to Napa, but we had a really nice meal at Martini House...

Loved Martini House! Sadly, it has moved on. The new establishment there is Goose & gander, which gets good, not great, reviews.

Have never had a bad meal at Scopa. It's great. Hope that it's a night when they have their wild boar ragu.

The Healdsburg Shed has a dinner on Sunday night once a month. On other days it serves until 7pm.
