Thank's to both of you for your response, when you mentioned the Rye it sounded familiar then I rememberd that the restaurant was featured in the SAVEUR magazine,I just didn't think it was that close where I would have access to it ,not being familiar with your area,so we will be going there, and keep the seafood place for the next time.

For next time you might also consider Bonefish Grill (also in Overland Park, on 135 Street). A chain, yes, but we like it better than Bristol. The Bang Bang Shrimp really are as good as they say.

I like Bonefish, too. And, Bristol is also a small chain.

GiGiWy I want to thank you for mentioning Bonefish grill,We did not however go to the one in your town but one here in Arkansas,we are totally hooked now, loved the bang bang shrimp we each orderd 1 apiece and I turned around and got 1 order to go,I am glad That our B.F.G is 80 miles away ,or we'd be there every week [on a wendesday of course]ha haaaa. At least now we know we have decent Retaurant to go to.We also could'nt believe the portion size.Delicious all the way around.

Yay, so glad you found one closer (relatively) and like it so much. We totally understand about the "numerous" orders of BBS - we've often threatened to do that ourselves - on Wednesday, of course!

      2. I go to Bristol in Leawood, once in a while. I'm sure they'll tell you the source of any of their seafood, and it's probably written right on the menu sheet.

I have never had a bad meal at the Bristol and they do list the origins of all of their fish.
