London - Best Market or shops for Antique & Vintage Kitchenware

Breadcrumbs Aug 3, 2013 08:48 AM

Would love to hear your recommendations for the best market or shops to purchase antique and vintage kitchenware. In the past I've focussed on Portobello Road and Bermondsey markets but I'm wondering if you have better recommendations?

If you don't mind travelling a bit further afield then come down to Crystal Palace.
There's the Crystal Palace antiques on Westow Hill which has four floors. Most of the kitchen stuff is on the ground floor.
On Church Road there are 4 places. They mainly sell mid century stuff. Also as a bonus one of them -Bambino's does great coffee. Sometimes there are also stalls on Church St as well.
Plus there's Hays Lane market near Sainsbury's which is more of a junk shop place. Worth going just to look at the wonkiest roof in South London.
