Greek in Flushing.

I am looking for a casual and moderately priced Greek restaurant for a group of 8 in Flushing.

I was last at Gyro Corner a few months ago and haven't visited Mythos or Kati Alo in years.

I don't want a bouzouki place, just a restaurant that serves Greek food.

Not against gyros, but no place that serves only grilled fish either.

Thanks for your help :-)

  1. Mediterranean Grill on Willets Point Blvd (technically Whitestone) is our go to place for a couple of years now. Fresh food, great value, nice people. Folks also like Avli in Bayside.

    1. I suggest going to Astoria for good Greek Food. Either Telly's Taverna or Kyclades

I ask because I've been twice, and nothing I ordered was good, so I'm very leery of the place. Especially since on one visit I ordered a recommended special of baby shark and it was so overcooked it became tough and dry. Still trying to evaluate if it's just bad luck considering how popular the place is.

I always get porgies at Kyclades, They come out charred and moist....

      1. Go east on Norhern Blvd, Right on 31st Street, left on Astoria Blvd & 28th street for BZ Grill for the most fabulous gyro you will ever have.

thanks. I tried BZ grill a few years ago and was disappointed. I tried it again and found the house made Gyro they sell worth the trip. If only they had traditional Gyro seasoning I would also recommend it to others.

          1. anything else that's not grilled?
