Does anyone know of a good restaurant in Rome that serves veal scalipini with pricuto and sage, restaurants in orvieto, Lucca,montipulciano and todi ? Any other interesting things ,hotels or othe ideas??

    Are you aware there is a Search feature for this board? If you go to the upper right-hand corner of this page, you can search for each of the cities you are planning to visit. You will find a good number of past threads with hundreds of helpful suggestions for you to review.

    In Lucca, Trattoria da Leo is very good for lunch. Buca San Antonio is good for dinner.

      The veal dish you are asking about is Saltimbocca alla Romana.

      How long are you going to be in Lucca? Do you have a car? How much are you prepared to spend for two with a 40-60 Euro bottle of wine?

        Without knowing length of stay, budget and standards, you're asking a lot of people and will probably not get helpful suggestions.

        I could spend a year in Lucca and not get bored with the restaurants. A short drive up into the hills on the Ligurian side and another series of gems.

        Same for Grieve.
