Help! Dinner in Toronto on Saturday?

Was just informed by the Grove that they're closed on Saturday and their online system should not have been taking reservations. They offered to book us into Yours Truly, which doesn't appeal. This may be too broad of a query, but I would love to get some recommendations. We're adventurous eaters but also looking to keep the price a bit lower than Yours Truly seems to offer (ie, not $55 a head before alcohol), and frankly the descriptions/reviews I've read are not appealing at all. We're eating at Bar Isabel on Friday night and really looking forward to it, if that gives you any indication of our tastes. Neighborhood doesn't matter –– we're more than willing to walk or cab it. Thanks in advance!

      1. Thanks for these! Had wanted to try Bestellen, but that will have to be on the next trip.

          Forgot Buca!

        2. I will add Marben, The Saint and Richmond Station for your consideration considering that The Grove is a gastro pub these would be good alternatives.

Thanks! Richmond Station was actually my first choice, but it was booked.
