Lines at Keste

  • 4

My son would like to try Keste instead of a couple of slice places. Anyone have a suggestion regarding the best time to avoid long lines on weekend days? We could be there a few minutes before it opens but not too excited about standing in a 30 min. to 1 hour line on a nice day. Thanks.

  1. I would show up right when they open at noon or try around 3-4pm.

    1. few times that i've been there lately there's been no line and no wait. same with Motorino. my wife and I were the only two people having lunch at Motorino on a Saturday not long ago.

      1. Agree with coasts' post. No need to strategize about what time you have to get there, etc, if going at noon. Show up and the worst is a 15 minute wait. They're very good at good pacing and turning tables. Last month, 8 of us went on a Saturday lunch and 15 minutes wait was all it took. We've eaten there on other days, lunches only, and ranged from 0 to15 minutes wait.

If you end up waiting 15 minutes, get Faicco's (opposite meat store opposite side of the street) sausage rolls, rice balls or prosciutto balls to nibble on while waiting.

        1. Just show up , if you if the wait is too long, go a few steps away to John's, which lately I like better than Keste.
