Very interesting. I'd love to hear anyone's reports on this; not sure I'll be able to get there anytime soon.

It's a good PoV I think, you take a food that a good amount of people are familiar with and look forward to, (at least in this area) that is not readily available and is not something that people typically make at home.

I looked a little bit at some pics on their facebook page and the portions look pretty big. Generally if you're going to indulge in a pizza fritta, it's probably a good thing that they're generally small, but there's a photo of a kid on there eating one and it looked like the size of a medium pizza.

    That's a whole lotta fried dough. :)

Maybe you're supposed to share? :) I was drawn to the deep fried dog till I read it was not one but TWO dogs topped with peppers, onions and potatoes and deep fried in dough. YOWZAH! That double carb thing always throws me, too. I say bring a friend and a knife (or a friend WITH a knife!). But is there no sweetness on the truck? Gotta have pizza fritt' with powdered sugar...or better still, melted butter, THEN powdered sugar. I wish that truck would head in my direction.

The "plain" can be had with powdered sugar...butter? You trying to French-up apizza-frite?!

More "fair-up" than French up, I guess. I discovered the melted butter option later in life--didn't grow up with it. I'm league of nations otherwise, but no French in this chat. >>^..^<< MIAO.

You can get the Italian Hot Dog as a single dog for $5. We have powdered sugar. We also make a nutella sauce.

Nice, now you just need to drive that truck north of Stamford. ;) Appreciate the info.
