2 lunches at Wynn/Encore/Venetian

  • 2

My husband and I will be in Las Vegas in October for a conference. The conference is at the Wynn. We have about an hour and a half for lunch each day, so we will likely have to stay close by. Any recommendations? Any price point is okay. Any type of food is okay. We are definite foodies. We live in Los Angeles, so we have access to a lot of good restaurants. Based on reviews here, maybe Country Club and Tableau are our best bets?

Just for more info, we will be eating at Le Cirque one night and at a place to be decided the other night. Any suggestions for the other night would be appreciated too. We've eaten at Lotus of Siam and would like to try someplace else. Raku is a possibility, though I suspect that we've had similar experiences here in Los Angeles and thus may be disappointed. The day we leave, we plan on stopping in Henderson at the Bread and Butter place based on reviews on this board.

Thanks for any suggestions.

  1. I have to say, it's impossible to be disappointed at Raku. It's a splendid experience and I've been there multiple times. Bear in mind that you will need a car, or be willing to pay the taxi fare to get there (about a 15 - 20 minute drive).

    1. I have tried Bread and Butter and as I previously noted in A Yelp review, I just don't get it. I really wanted to like this place because it is close to home. Deb and I went there on a weekday morning, place not crowded. Bottom line, completely forgot Deb's order, portions very small, and nothing particularly interesting taste-wise.

I suggest you can do much better in Vegas or Henderson.
