I need suggestions or recipes for using these peppers other than in a fresh salad.Hope you can help me.I have an abundance from my garden.
Quick sauteed alone or with another spicier variety and tossed with fried calamari (breaded or naked squid).
Pickled - toppings for sandwiches and pizza. (I confess we buy the pickled variety in jars from the grocery store -- have never grown them or pickled them myself).
In Buffalo, banana peppers seemed to be a popular pizza topping. Fine by me, except that it took half an hour for each slice to cool down.
Try them with kebabs or lahmacun too.
