New Place on the Upper West?

PotatoPuff Jul 28, 2013 05:04 PM

According to an article in NY Magazine, a store that only serves Rice Krispie Treats is set to open on the Upper West. The website says that all treats are kosher and dairy free, but doesn't give any info about the kashrut. I emailed them to ask and will let you know if they get back to me. Hopefully it will be a nice addition to the community!

Talk about narrow focus. They'll have to sell a lot of Rice Krispie treats to make rent on the UWS!

Update: I received this email from TreatHouse

"We are going to be certified by the "United Kosher Supervision" by Rabbi Yaakov Spivak. He is doing his final inspection and sign off this Wednesday.

We will have the certification available in store and on our website prior to our opening."

There was more about this place on Gothamist today. I think they're hoping fancy rice krispie treats are going to be the next sweets trend.

Hopefully the fact that it is opening new locations means that it is good!
