Trevi -Hershey Hotel

Wonderful day for al fresco dining on the terrace above the Hershey gardens. The service was very good, the food was just great. We had just had dinner with friends on Tuesday at a highly rated Italian restaurant in Philadelphia; everything at Trevi was much better, of higher quality and quantity, better preparation and more nicely plated than at this Philadelphia "In" Italian. My guess is the average plate to plate price was 20-30% lower at the Hotel Hershey. We were all pleasantly surprised and have, because of this comparison, crossed off the Philly place.

So what was the Philly place?

Details under, A miss at Amis! The items we loved at Hotel Hershey Trevi 5 were the SALUMI E FORMAGGI --The ITALIAN MEATBALLS, VEG ANTI-PASTA. Take a look at their menu to see the ingredients of each and the amazing quality of the imported meats and cheeses on the Salumi plate as compared to a 50% more expensive offering of house made items in Phila, which we all found tasteless. I had seen hit or miss for Trevi but our visit was certainly a hit.
