Atlantic City authentic ethnic restaurant

Worldwide Diner Jul 25, 2013 05:37 PM

I'm wondering if there's anything like a Lotus of Siam (Las Vegas) in Atlantic City? Some hole in the wall perhaps with awesome food, regardless of cuisine.

Lol! There is nothing in the USA like LoS, except maybe Lersros in SF and possibly Sripraphai in Queens, and the hole in the wall joints in AC are not worth looking at or, worse yet, venturing near.

    But ...

there is very good Vietnamese food at Little Saigon. Here is their website:

And you can check the board here for all the recs for Dock's seafood, but Dock's is hardly ethnic or divey - best seafood in AC though.

Thanks. I've been to Dock's. Looking for something more interesting. I'll check out Little Saigon. Looks like they have bun bo hue and other noodle soups in addition to pho.

Yw. Sorry about the website though, I always forget that the site listed is for the place with the same name in Orlando.

But they do have a variety of soups and a good size menu.

Here is their actual address & phone:

2801 Arctic Ave, Atlantic City, NJ 08401

Here is a link to their menu. This place is really very good. There are only a few tables so in the summer I strongly suggest calling ahead for a reservation.

You need to visit Los Angeles, which is absolutely filled with outstanding non-American holes in the wall.
