Where do you get your Bay Area food news??

Looking for recommendations. Right now I mainly read Inside Scoop, Eater, Tablehopper, Diablo Dish and Berkeleyside Nosh (disclaimer: the latter is my employer, though I work mainly for our Berkeley news division and not the food side of things) -- and just started reading CH (long overdue!). Where else do people find news, updates, etc. Any local blogs, news sites, etc. to recommend?

cool i will check that out -- thanks!

    2. Honestly? I read CH. Do the same for Manhattan. There are so many, many choices and I think those two boards give me better info than any place else.

Yeah it's an awesome resource! I'm still learning my way around. It's totally clutch! I'm trying to figure out the best resources about the East Bay -- and also trying to figure out how to find the BEST threads from the past ... like overviews of "best of" type posts. Or a great "how to use" CH post... any links would be appreciated.

I really mostly eat in SF and some in Sonoma so can't advise about East Bay. When I know I'm going to be there I start reading current threads which frequently have a history. After spending time reading the board, one gets a sense of whose taste is similar to mine.

      2. Thrillist, SF Weekly and the SF Chronicle online presence are other resources that have netted the odd gem for me as a visitor. Bunrab can be fun.

never heard of Bunrab -- will have to check that out. i frequent Yelp in terms of reviews but you have to take it all with a grain of salt i think...

Forgot to mention 7x7, also useful. And I recently got Twitter on my phone (I know, I know, I'm a trog) so I've been following a bunch of different SF food related tweets which is fun.

          2. Hi, Emilie,

It seems that he is not a frequent blogger, but I find Gary Soup worth following:

Gary Soup is positively brilliant, and his writing is incredibly informative. A total joy to read. Personally, I like Noodle Frontity, but Geezericious is certainly worth one's time.
