Turkish coffee in downtown Toronto on the weekend?

  • 4

My bf has a craving for a Turkish Coffee. He will be in town on the weekend. (We could not get the Turkish Coffee much to our dismay at Takht e Tavoos on a previous weekend as the server said they do not set up machine on weekends.) Any recommendations?

  1. If Greek coffee will work, it can be ordered at Athens Pastries, Cafe Frappe and 521 on the Danforth. Athens Pastries charges less than Cafe Frappe or 521.
Aroma Espresso, which has a location in the Eaton Centre food court and another location in the Annex, as well as several other central locations, also has Turkish coffee on its menu. I haven't tried the Turkish coffee at Aroma.

    1. You can get it at The Bean (college/bathurst).

I have seen people enjoying it at Mersin (Bloor W) - definitely an "authentic" atmosphere - bare bone, no ac, bustling with regulars.

        1. Thanks so much for the suggestions. Exactly what I was seeking.
