Hell's Kitchen 7/18 spoilers

Okay I may possibly be the only person left in the world watching this show, but it is my summer guilty pleasure. Yes, it's formulaic, wastes too much time on punishments than on cooking. But I've watched every season. Now I tend to watch it later online than making it to watch it in the evening when it airs. So I caught up with it this morning early (I was busy judging babies at a county fair the night before) and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. Mary the Butcher, with the high squeaky voice, made it to the final two. She's probably one of the nicest contestants they've had on the show (or at least she is getting a nice edit). She also didn't look like Ramsay's "type." She probably won't win the whole thing, but it's nice to see a nice player getting recognized for growing and improving in the game.
Show is still hilarious, the composer for the show's audio/sound effects deserves an Emmy.
Surprised Mary made the final but I think it's Jon's to lose unless he really screws up in the final. I'm assuming he's in the final because he's one of the stronger/more mature chefs they've ever had on the show.
The final five seemed like really nice people. Unusual for this show.
I also think it's Jon's to lose.
According to the Fox website, tonight will be the end. A 2 hour season finale. So I am guessing hour one we find out who is going to Vegas with Mary, then the cooking challenge in front of some chefs and live audience. (Usually the person who wins here loses overall). Then the head to the kitchen and get reunited with the cast they brought back. Pick teams. Cook. I'm so glad they quit doing the restaurant decoration crap. I'd love to see Mary win it. That said, I am a total curse when it comes to picking realty show winners so the winner will be someone else.
