Mexican breakfast or great brunch near Grand Central

Staying at the Westin NY Grand Central next week and hoping that there are some good breakfast spots around there. I love huevos rancheros and other Southwest type breakfasts and if there's a place with a good Sunday brunch, that would be good to know as well. Thanks!

If you want authentic Mexican breakfast, are willing to travel across town, the BEST huevos rancheros in the city, IMHO, are at Tulcingo del Valle on 10th Avenue (near 47th Street). They are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week. I agree that there is very little "good" Mexican in Midtown East.

Salvation Taco serves brunch. No huevos rancheros but they have burritos & chilaquiles.

Never been there for brunch, but Pampano is in my mind the only acceptable Mexican in the area. Midtown East is a bit dead on weekends, so you might get better Sunday brunch options if you're willing to travel a little.
