Can anyone recommend some great restaurants as well as cocktails bars within walking distance to Andaz West Hollywood - looking at all options from expensive to affordable.

Many thanks!

  1. Dan Tanas - For great old school Italian and steak with an active bar. Ask to sit in the front room.

    Connie & Ted's - sea food

Eveleigh - Austrailian small plates, good bar and vibe.

Chateau Marmont - very hip hotel with great outdoor dining.

+1 on Connie and Ted's. Was relatively easy to snag a couple of bar stools when I went a couple of weeks ago.

At the risk of being booed and hissed, The Gardens of Taxco is also walking distance from the Andaz. Although no one would ever call it "great," it is one of my most treasured WeHo institutions. From the recited menus to the dark, dated decor, it takes me to a real happy place every single time.

      1. Thanks Thor123, I didnt have any of them on my list!

Well, Il Sole is already closed and out of business.
Osteria Drago is now in its place.
For affordable meals, decent French wine list, might try Weho Bistro on La Cienega & Holloway, back side of the CVS Drug store.
              Very good French bistro food.
     for more info

SoHo House is a private club, so if you are not a member, you will need to go with one.

          1. A lot recommended above is not walking distance, like Dan Tana, but is a short cab or ├╝ber ride.

Walk over to sunset plaza and take your pick. They are all good. And actually, I like Carneys for my hot dog fix

Have a meal at the chateau marmont and a drink at bar marmont.

            1. There's a restaurant in the back of the Sunset Marquis. Food is pretty good, easy to get into (usually not quite dead, but close). you get the price bump you usually get at high end hotels. Best though - that hotel attracts rock 'n roller. You'll never know who you might see.

The restaurant in the Andaz is pretty good too. Though I haven't been there in a year or so.

The restaurant in the Chateau Marmont is also good.

All these are within walking distance. A short cab ride and your world opens up tremendously.

              1. Behind the diner in The Standard is a disco!

I went to a private party at Rosa Mexicana. Great guacamole and Margaritas. As I recall :) the rest of the meal was surprisingly tasty. Lively and fun crowd. Practically across the street from the Andaz
