Ye Shanghai, Hong Kong
Just wondering if anyone can provide insight to the differences between the two locations, in terms of quality of food, ambiance and menu?
Obviously the Kowloon branch holds two stars, with the other none. From what I can see, they have the same menu. Is there a significant difference?
I'd not tried the HK branch so can't comment. But I ws blown away by the Kowloon outlet.
*Strictly* my own humble opinion here: but I ate here after 10 years of eating at dozens of local restaurants in Shanghai - and I thought Ye Shanghai Kowloon served the *best* "Shanghainese" I'd ever had!
I suspect "Hongkongised" Shanghai food suited my palate more. DON'T miss Ye Shanghai.
