Javier's, You're stuck here, you have to go, what do you order ? And which location would you spring for ?

Which has the better view, atmosphere, all around better, even if the food sucks like the ivy on a very bad day.

also, which one has the best eye candy.

even if the food is not edible, hopefully the curtains of beef are.

  1. Better view and people watching at the Crystal Cove location. As far as food, you'll be fairly safe with the Tablita or one of the prime beef selections.

Ok, yeah, the crystal cove location sounds ok given the circumstances. Is it in the same fashionable mini-mall as Mastro's by the Sea and the blue (something ?) sushi bar ?

That's the one. Report back on your experience - whether positive or not.

    2. Can't believe you got away with curtains of beef Kevin. I'm on to you!

In the off chance you're actually thinking of going, the carnitas isn't bad.

good god, did you have to revive the meat?

Kevin, you're crass. but you're the one who throws in gratuitous f-bombs everywhere so i'm not surprised. but lemme see your beef and raise you: I hope you like your beef dry aged because that's what you'll find at Javier's, espcially at the crystal cove location.

Oh, and to your original query, Javier's is gross so just do yourself a favor and avoid it.

It sounds like I'll have to put in my request for the Crystal Cove location if I ain't got the choice otherwise.

          My apologies.

I was merely testing your thorough and meticulous reading skills.

I think Kevin will fit in perfectly there.

Is all the seafood enchiladas and burritos quite terrible ????

I've actually found the crab and shrimp chimichanga to be edible.
