Emporium Thai is on Dine LA. Was talking to the owner and he said they had a great summer menu with some really great stuff. Have not tried but looking forward to it.

    Thanks for this info, Thor123.

Since you have not yet tried this restaurant, go and enjoy. But if anything does not live up to your expectations, go back and give it another chance AFTER Dine LA when they return to their "regular" menu. I am a big fan!

I have had the regular menu several times and like it a ton too! Just waiting to try the new items and will report back.

Sorry, Thor123, I misunderstood your "Have not tried but looking forward to it."

I continue to desire their blossom salad and...well...everything else!

The Morning Glory Salad is one of the options on the DineLA menu.

Crying Tiger is also on the menu. Those are two signature dishes.

Their soft shell crab in southern curry was good not great. The original version at Jitlada was much much much better.

Though I really did enjoy their sweetened iced coffee and it was at a third the price of J's.

Are these full-size dishes, especially at lunch? I'm tempted but I don't understand it -- at a Thai/Chinese/Indonesian place, who pays more than $7.95 or so for a complete combo lunch anyway?
