Imitation Shark Fin in the SGV

My favorite is the stir fried version with egg whites at Tasty Garden (but not the TG Kitchen in San Gabriel). Embassy Kitchen is also excellent.

  1. A surimi-type knockoff of shark fin is a good idea for many reasons. It should not be too difficult to imitate cartilage that has no flavor to begin with.
