My husband and I had lunch at Vivo (2015 Manor) today and loved it. It is related to Fiesta Patio in San Antonio (actually, Universal City, but it used to be on Old Austin Highway when it opend in 1974). The same natural ingredients are used -- brown rice, refried beans with no lard but delicious flavor, puffy tacos, flavorful salsas, etc. I always remembered the clean taste I was left with after eating at Fiesta Patio and the same is now true of Vivo. I love the decor, too -- especially the purple bathroom! Roger, the owner and son of the original Fiesta Patio owners, told me he is offering 2-for-1 entrees on Tuesday nights. We can't wait to try it for the evening! I wanted to share this with you all since we enjoyed it so much & felt it is really different from the usual Tex-Mex.

Sorry. Vivo is in Austin, across the street from Hoover's -- Manor Road. I hope you'll try it. Roger seems like a nice guy.
