I have bought this polenta in 24oz. bags for years in the San Luis Obispo area. We are now in Fullerton and can't locate it anywhere. Help, Please.

it's a pita ... apparently their distributor for southern california isn't all that it could be. every once in a while i'll find it and buy a bunch (keep it in the freezer). you can sometimes find it at von's. i also use bob's red mill, which is more widely available, even if not quite up to golden pheasant.

i tried that, but it was a while ago. shipping costs made it ludicrous (polenta is heavy). that might have changed.

"that might have changed." Yeah. Now it's undoubtedly ludicrous to the Nth degree...

iirc, it was one of those things where the polenta was $3 and the shipping was $25. oh well. it is good stuff, but not worth $28.

Sorry for the late response. I'm looking for it myself in another area and I came across this post. Anyway, Cortinas in Anaheim had both the 24oz and the 5lb size. You might want to call ahead, I heard they might have had a fire? Also Claro's in Tustin has the 24oz. Maybe the La Habra Claro's will have it as well. Good luck!
