Jinya Costa Mesa Gone in Three Days

BrewNChow Jul 14, 2013 12:21 PM

This really sucks. Jinya was one of the best, if not the best ramen bar in OC. It's really too bad it wasn't appreciated. Why couldn't it have been Yamadaya?? They're only serving a limited menu for the last few days, get it while you can. Apparently the shop is relocating to Vegas.

Replaced with a Daikokuya which is now open for business. It was packed when I was there last week.

We were terribly disappointed that the Miracle Mile branch closed. It was consistently packed for lunch, too.

Not surprised after finding out Jinya's business model is franchising.

It's a rather large chain in Japan no? The studio city location has never done me wrong though.

dunno, but if you look at their US website and have 350k or so you too can open up a Jinya.

I'm not surprised. It was mostly empty all the time.

No big loss for me. I find Ramen Zetton so much better than Jinya. I don't have any reason to go to Yamadaya these days either.

I think it's Zetton and Iroha for me from here on out.
