Any recommendations other than the following event "under The Auspices of the Consulate General of France" in Los Angeles : http://www.bastilledaylosangeles.com/...
Riviera 31 (at Sofitel) is having a Bastille Day party put on by the French Tuesdays group.
I think in addition to Church and State, Comme Ca, Maison Akira, and Fig&Olive have dinner events. Melisse usually does, but they;re closed Sundays. Chinois often has an event but I couldn't find note of it this year.
I'm celebrating at Piccolo.
Fwiw I've been to the large event by the consulate a few times. It's kind of ho-hum unfortunately.
Bastille Day at Bouchon in Beverly Hills sounds good to me. Bring a blanket and watch Moulin Rouge in the courtyard after your meal.
