Suggestions Fort Benton/Havre MT area

Will be visiting the area for a few days in the near future. Prefer local "home-cooking" to chain large restaurants. I recognize there's a lot of country out this way but are there any small town cafes that boast good coffee and pie?
Suggestions regarding local breweries (a la Belt Brewery) and their products also appreciated.
Thanks for the assistance.

Don't expect much, and as far as Havre goes, Did you see the movie "Fargo"?

The Grand Union Hotel in Fort Benton boasts of a fine dining experience, and its menu certainly aims high for the locale. A few years ago when I was last there, it was okay but not great, but I'm led to understand there's someone new in the kitchen.

A friend recently picked up some machinery in FtB and said he had a really good "home cooked" lunch. He didn't remember the name of the place, only that it wasn't on the main drag. Shouldn't be too hard to find, but I wouldn't expect truly good coffee.
