Pakistani, Indian, or Middle Eastern food, for pre theater

Nyum Jul 7, 2013 03:33 PM

Hi. Pakistani/Indian, Middle Eastern...Visiting older relatives say they are eager for 'ethnic' food, before our theater date.
Need something up in the theater district.
Many thanks.

I second Taboon or Gazala Palace for Middle Eastern.

Gazala's is Lebanese Druze food, delicious, albeit a bit of a small space. There's not much on the West Side for Indo-Pak, but if you don't mind a crosstown ride, I would recommend Tulsi or Darbar Grill.

Molyvos (Greek) is pleasantly senior friendly with very good food--and easy to make a meal of appetizers/small plates.

I've had several good experiences at Taboon.
