YEG - Frozen Butternut Squash

Has anyone come across bags of cubed frozen butternut squash in Edmonton? I've tried my local Save-On, Superstore, etc and haven't had any luck.

The downtown Planet Organic came through with the Stahlbush brand butternut squash. Luckily it was on sale so definitely a better option than peeling and cubing them myself.

I don't have a Costco membership so I wasn't able to try that but I'll find someone to tag along with the next time I need some. That would definitely be a cost effective and efficient solution.

Thanks to everyone for their replies.

Alternatively, get someone to buy a Costco gift card for you. Even if it's $5, you can use it to get a temporary membership at the service counter and shop on your own...

Save On should have small (albeit pricey) bags of frozen butternut squash in the organic aisle-Stahlbush brand I think. Otherwise I second the Costco suggestion--particularly after roasting and cubing two large ones myself the other day. Btw they're usually in the walk in cooler (with the baby carrots, fruit trays etc).

If you have access, Costco also sells bags of refrigerated cubed butternut squash that you could throw into the freezer.

Planet Organic in Calgary has them. The Edmonton location likely does too.

Thanks for the reply. I didn't see them at the downtown location but I'll try the southside one; they usually have a better selection.
