German Potato Salad

I used to love the German potato salad at the Atlas Sausage Co. on Burbank Blvd. It was sinfully delicious. Since it went away, I haven't really had any, until a recent trip out of town. Can anyone someplace in LA, hopefully in the Valley, with s really fine version for me to try out? Take-out would be the best.

It's not in the Valley, but Alpine Village makes some very tasty potato salad, and, IMO, the best sausages as well.

    Unfortunately, it's in Torrance.

Brat Bros, on Ventura near Dixie Canyon makes an OK version

Try the Van Nuys German Deli on Roscoe and Woodley, about a 1/2 mile west of the 405. I haven't been there in a couple years, but i recall their potato salad and sausages were delicious.

Thanks, Granadafan, I'll give that a try this week.

Silly (but genuine question): is german potato salad "german"? If so, this thread may be of use:
