One dinner in Mendocino

We're in Mendocino for one night, and are having trouble deciding between Cafe Beaujolais and MacCallum House for dinner. I see both are popular here. Any advice on which to choose? (FYI one of us is a non-drinker, so more interested in the food than the wine & cocktail list.)

  1. I'm in the same boat. We have 2 nights in Mendocino. One night we're going to spend in ft. Bragg and I have Cafe Beaujolais booked for the other night. But cafe Beaujolais is pretty pricey, probably pricier than any of the meals we're going to have in SF or Sonoma so I'm really hesitant. I was thinking of cancelling and going to the more casual part of maccullum since they have a few cheaper options.

      For Ft. Bragg, I would suggest the Brewery Taproom of North Coast Brewing, which is quite a nice casual restaurant with great food, superb beer and a fairly good wine selection.
      Check out their site;

      Good Luck!

        Thanks, we were planning on that!! It sounds great.

        Not long on atmosphere, but Piaci in Ft Bragg has great food.

      3. At the MacCallum House, I've always preferred the glassed-in porch for both ambiance and menu selections. I've eaten several times in both the dining room and the porch. It has been a couple of years ago, so I can't vouch for the food quality today.
