Apple Fritters in YYC

Lexandora Jul 3, 2013 09:16 PM

Does anyone know of a great apple fritter in Calgary? My husband has been reminiscing about the ones he used to eat as a kid. Please don't say Tim Hortons. He's looking for something moist and freshly made. Thanks for the help.

No need for resorting to the inedible garbage at Tim Hortons for any product, never mind apple fritters. You can find delicious apple fritters at Apple-licious, Crossroads Market.

Thanks for the recommendation. Unfortunately, when we went down today, we were told Applelicious is gone.

Damn, had no idea. Best alternative is to get them from Jelly, when they're on offer there. Pricey but excellent.

I don't think Jelly does apple (or any kind of) fritters: http://www.jellymoderndoughnuts.com/m...

Safeway has the best donuts in town... Their apple fritters aren't amazing but better than anywhere else.
