I've been looking for a vegan cheddar cracker (or any cheese flavor, really) for my little boy. His milk allergy was diagnosed recently and he misses Goldfish and other snacks that the kids in his class have.
You'll have to make them for him. I haven't tried it myself, but I've read some good reviews of this recipe:http://chefchloe.com/on-the-side/vegan-goldfish-crackers.html
And here's one that calls for Daiya cheese:http://momversusfoodallergy.wordpress...
Thanks for the recipes. I was hoping to find something I could buy, but there doesn't seem to be a vegan cheddar cracker anywhere.
I know, I figured you were asking for a store-bought recommendation. I'm sorry there isn't one to give!
Maybe I should go into business :-) Though I imagine there's isn't much of a market, seems like most kids are found to have milk allergy as infants.
Thanks, I was looking for a good cracker for my soup, and this will work perfectly for me as well, I just switched out the flour for a non gluten one.. :-)
