Replacing a 30 gas range - GE? Electrolux? What???

The oven on my 11 year old GE Profile gas range has given up the ghost and we need to replace it fairly quickly. I've looked online and in a couple of stores but need recommendations from non-sales people - help!

Another GE Profile - thumbs up or down? What about the Electrolux? Anything else I should be looking at?

Many thanks.

My all-time favorite range was a slide-in GE Profile gas unit. It had sealed burners on a brushed stainless top. It cooked well, had cast iron grates that spanned the entire cooktop, which made it easy to move pots around.

It's second-best feature was how easy it was to clean. The brushed finish made it virtually scratch-proof. I routinely used BKF, and once when I had some partially polymerized grease to clean, I took an SOS pad to it, scrubbing in the direction of the brushed finish. It worked, and no, it didn't scratch the top. Try THAT with porcelain or glass!

I only owned the home for 4 years, but the range was several years old when I moved in. It performed flawlessly for me. Looked good, too.
