Going to see The Chew next week. and don't know that area at all. Is there anything good in that area..we are walkers so we can go a few blocks over in any direction. No Mexican or Steak. Prefer Italian or American. Not caring about price. Thanks.

I have been to Fiorello a couple times recently. I can't recommend it.

            Good point! Google says:

            beta.abc.go.com/shows/the-chew/tickets
"The Chew" is taped Tuesday-Thursday from approximately 9:00AM-10:15AM.

            A bit early for lunch?

be aware of Epicerie Boulud. it might not be what you have in mind for lunch - no table service or proper menu - but might be good if you decide on a snack or coffee and pastry. they have excellent sandwiches, salads, and vegetable dishes.

Epicerie Boulud also has excellent croissants, if you need something before the show.

I'm shocked no one has suggested Salumria Rossi yet. Short walk from where you'll be, excellent place to just sit and order a bunch of different stuff.

                What about Telepan?
