Common wisdom says no, the season is over. BUT, the reality on the ground is different this year. A very cool, extended spring means that pond crawfish are still soft right now. It's crazy.
But I got multiple firsthand reports of easy to peel, non-fingernail-breaking crawfish this weekend...boiling places in Houma/Thib do still have edible boiled crawfish, so you might call Sal's Seafood or a similar, non tourist oriented place and see what you can find.
