Yemani (Yamani on Trip Advisor) is a kosher meat Yeminite restaurant at 25 Jaffa street very close to Thailandi that is relatively new.

I got to try it this weekend for the first time, and overall it's pretty nice. I went with some friends and we tried the oxtail soup and the shaywa meal (which was marinated and grilled turkey served with the choice of rice/potato and beans/okra). The oxtail soup broth was pretty fatty and not as flavorful as I would have wanted, but the meat was nice, especially with the zhug and chilbe. However, the shaywa was really excellent along with the okra. Especially combined with sides of pickled vegetables and tahini. Overall it's a great way to try different Yeminite dishes and the cost is very reasonable with none of the meals costing over 40 shekels. And similar to local Ethiopian restaurants, easily one of the cheapest places to get a beer/glass of wine in the city.
