Any exceptional Chinese restaurants in or near Chinatown?

My wife and I will be visiting Chicago in mid-July and will be in the Chinatown area. Are there any restaurants of the quality in San Francisco's Chinatown?

Chicago doesn't have as vibrant a Chinese population as SF has, so you may be hard pressed to find one that can stand head and shoulders to the Bay Area. Having said that, I do like Ken Kee, Sweet Station and Ming Hin. All are located within Chinatown Square. If you don't mind eating non Chinese food, Acadia is also nearby.

Sunbrace is right. In a word: no.

Agreed that SF has some great Chinese restaurants and a great Chinatown. But I am a big fan of all of Tony Hu's restaurants.

Lao Sze Chuan and Lao You Ju are my favorites. The Chrispy Shrimp at Lao You Ju is about the best shrimp dish I have ever had.

And as mentioned above Ming Hin (only about a year old) is really good and very similar to the experience you get in the SF big restaurants. Since it is next to Lao Szechaun you can just pick.
