4 star list

Anyone know where I can find a list of all Ryan Sutton's 4 star reviews? I saw he put out a list a while back of all his 1/2 star.
Curious to see the other side of the spectrum.
I know he gave 4 to EMP, Blanca, Corton, and Marea.

Kathryn, I tried that but didn't get a response.
So beyond the 5 already mentioned are there others?

So validated EMP, Blanca, Corton, and Le Bern from the Bloomberg archives, but that only starts at March 2010. I don't think there's anything else post-March 2010 (I looked at a few other "contenders" and they didn't hit 4-star)/

I did a google search for Marea and Sutton and that's from an early 2009 review so it wasn't in that archive I was looking at.

May I ask why you're asking? I don't think he's reviewed the other "big boys" like Per Se, Daniel, Masa, Jean Georges, or BK Fare.

Honestly just curious to read his reviews. Not much else. I enjoyed his 4 star review of Corton and was looking for all the others.

    2. Le Bern as well.

FYI, Torrisi’s was 3.5 stars. I personally like the half-star system as well.

Anybody know when he started at BB? The earliest in the BB archives is from March 2010, from what I can tell.

      1. Four Stars & 3.5 Stars:

        Le Bernardin
        Eleven Madison Park

Those are my 3.5 and four star selections since I started work as the NYC food critic at Bloomberg in 2008 (first review was Momofuku Ko). From 2006-2008 I was the food writer for Bloomberg. We introduced the half-star ratings with Torrisi in 2010 when I gave 2.5 stars (later upgraded).

Only caveat I'll make is that I returned to Marea recently and it wasn't the four star restaurant that I remember it as. Food and service, while good, wasn't anywhere near where it should've been for its price point.

Haven't formally reviewed BK Fare, but my experiences there have never been less than amazing.

Can we get a Twitter-esque verification status that this is the real Ryan Sutton? jk.

Thanks for posting. I'm sure you read the CH posts (probably under another name) so you get to get the benefits that come with a CH account like knowing what posts you've read vs. which ones you've read, but now have been updated.

I hate when it logs me off and I have to log back on.
