Need good outdoor Happy Hour spot in Oakland tonight

So it should be lovely outside tonight. A few friends are getting together for an early dinner and thought we'd see if anyone has any good Happy Hour spots Since the weather will be so nice, we'd like to sit outside. I think we'll avoid Lake Chalet.

This looks fun and I hadn't heard of it before but I fogot to mention that we are also looking for cocktails.

You know I've never been to Mua but I'm not sure it's what we are looking for tonight.

The outside area's very pleasant and the cocktails are good. My main complaint about the place is the loud music but that's only inside.

We were thinking about Forge because of the location. One person in our party went there and liked everything but the pizza!

Great drinks, stick with apps. Love the fried cheese curds!

while i love Boca nova, the happy hour food is still not cheap.

The same group went to Bocanova awhile back and decided we would only go back for HH or using a Blackboard Eats discount. Nice location though. Also the last time we all thought the portions were stingy.

I actually checked out Boca Nova's happy hour yesterday. The price/value ratio of the food was quite variable, I thought. I got the ceviche, which was generous serving (full appetizer to light entree size) but two small (extremely tasty) empandas were the same price.

Great service. We sat outside and enjoyed the parade of people walking their dogs, even though it was a bit windy.

            3. Consider Heinold's if you don't want to eat, great atmosphere and reasonable drinks. Not sure if they have a happy hour.

Also consider the "party boat". Get a ferry to SF and back again for $5. Bar on the boat! Not the cheapest, but perhaps the most fun.
